At Raymond Brown Haulage Ltd 2022 was an exciting year which resulted in us taking on larger premises and we were then fortunate to be joined by our long term friend, and now business partner Richard Brandl.

DAF Trained Master Technician
Rich is a DAF Trained Master Technician with over 20-years of experience working on all makes of Commercial Trucks & Trailers, and this partnership created our now sister company Raymond Brandl Commercials Ltd.
Rich started his career as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician after leaving school at 16-years of age beginning and continuing to work with main DAF dealers to develop his technical knowledge & skills to the high level that he has today.
His understanding of customer requirements, the need to be flexible to maintain vehicles when customers don’t need them, so they are available for when they do, has already begun to develop strong relationships with local fleet operators and owner drivers alike in offering our workshop services to third parties.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
At RBC we totally understand that quality routine maintenance is critical to keep vehicle downtime to an absolute minimum whilst preventing unnecessary breakdowns, and with our flexible approach we will always try and accommodate scheduled maintenance at a time that is convenient for the operator.
Working on vehicles from 7.5-tonne through to 44-tonne combinations we will ensure that each & every vehicle that passes through the workshop receives the time and attention it deserves.
Operating our own fleet of vehicles, we understand that it is not always about the speed of the repair, but more about the quality and longevity of the work completed.
Our view is don’t let it break, let us identify it and repair it before it does.
MOT PREPARATIONS
Within the industry we appreciate that first time MOT pass rates are so important to an operator, and that is why any vehicles being prepared for an MOT are done so to a high standard.
However as a business if we are seeing vehicles for regular maintenance throughout the year we will work with you as the operator to keep you fully advised of repairs that may be required long before the MOT is due. This prevents those costly repair bills that always seem to appear around MOT time by smoothing out these repairs throughout the vehicles life.
We also operate our own weighted test trailer to enable tractor units to be presented for loaded voluntary and MOT roller brake tests.
